In certain supercharger applications that incorporate OEM manifold seals, the heads and supercharger manifold have direct contact causing the transfer of heat and higher operating temperatures of the supercharger. This is noticed most at slow speeds like stop-start traffic when their is a lower volume of free flowing air passing through causing higher inlet air temperatures.
The fitment of our supercharger thermal spacers reduces heat soak in the supercharger manifold by minimising heat transfer. Our thermal spacers are proven to reduce intake air temperatures, which can result in power gains.
